Violence against woman and girls (VAWG) is an issue that is not going away, so we are encouraging you all to sign the White Ribbon promise and work together to prevent serious violence and harm. This is not an issue to be taken lightly – in the last 12 months we have received over 26,000 reports of violence against women and girls. That is 33% more than the previous 12 months! When you consider there will be many more incidents not reported to us, it paints a worrying picture that we have to do all we can to reverse.
