Please see below information regarding the pay deal on offer which Unison are balloting their members about.
Members should have received an email to the address which is registered with ‘My Unison’ on the 2023 pay offer for police staff in England and Wales. If you have not received this email you must ring Unison Direct 08000 857857 with your membership number. If you don’t know your membership number please email branch12388@aol.com along with your current home address and job role and we will forward your membership number to you. The ballot closes at 12 noon on 30th August 2023 so please act without delay.
Summary of the offer:
– A 7% pay increase on all pay points on the Police Staff Council pay spine with effect from 1 September 2023
– A 7% increase on Standby Allowance from £32.23 to £34.49 with effect from 1 September 2023
– A review of the lower quartile of the PSC pay spine during the 2023-24 pay year
– UNISON’s Police Staff Committee recommends that members vote to accept the pay offer as the best achievable by negotiation
